I don't love running on the treadmill, but we've had an unusually hot spring and I can't run when it's 30 degrees out. Now instead of skipping runs I can run in my nice cool basement. Hopefully I won't have to use it too often as I love my run through the forest, but it's better than nothing! I do like that I can run much faster on a treadmill which is a nice feeling compared to my outdoor slowness.
I have a 10k race next month. I'm really looking forward to it. It's my first race. But I'm also registered for a fundraiser 5k in September and an 8k race in October (wish they had a 10 or 15k option). The 8k can be upgraded to a half marathon at anytime and I am seriously considering it. Just a month ago I swore I wouldn't want to run further than 10k. Now I feel like it's not far enough!! Running is messing with my sanity. Anyway, no quick decisions on this one. I'll decide this summer.

I used my treadmill for the opposite, when it was icy outside. And I run slower on it. Good luck with the half marathon if and when you decide to do it x

Think I need a treadmill , This year I didn't run because it was to cold , to icy, snow was to slushy , rain to heavy , too windy , too hot , that happened from 10th Jan to 19th April 😂
Now which treadmill shall I get and where to put it 😊
