A bit late for this update, but I feel it must be shared... I only graduated C25K in late Feb and managed to reach 5k in mid March... On Saturday, I went out to do 8k while working my way up to 10....and ended up doing 9, yes 9 kilometers! In one go! Who me? That's unbelievable!!
Sorry to sound so ecstatic, but I never believed I would be able to reach these sort of distances, and actually feel so good doing it! It was one of those runs where everything comes together, good pacing, good breathing, the legs feeling strong, the weather being good for running....
I just want to thank everyone in this and the C25K community for the support and inspiration, and say: I'll get to 10k soon, and then I'll probably go further (and hopefully faster... I'm terribly slow!)
Keep running strong everyone

Aw, your joy is an inspiration. you will do 10k soon, no doubt at all
It's an amazing feeling isn't it? I'm 3definitely enjoying the journey all the more because of how unexpected it all is. This time last year I'd have fallen off the couch laughing if You'd told me I'd be running 10k and enjoying It.
Yes, the same here lol Unbelievable how both programmes work.
Well done for your 9K GeorgiosA! Be proud and let the 10K catch you by surprise as well Some of us on Ju-Ju's plan ran the 10K by "accident" before week 8. I happened to run 12,5k the day I was supposed to run 9k because I miscalculated the distance (I check the road on a website calculator first as I dont have a garmin or tracker) ...
Really brilliant job. I can hear your pride and believe it is well deserved- you did it because you put the work in
Well done GeorgiosA , this is an amazing acheivement & NEVER apologise for being ecstatic, we LOVE it!!! So you should be too...& extremely proud & we all want to share it with you...that’s a big cheesy grin you’ve got there!!! 🤩
