Done it, 10k

Got out as early as I could before the heat and the crowds. Can’t say I enjoyed it really and am not in a hurry to do it again but am proud of myself. Am now going to target an under 30 mins 5k. I need a goal or I just wouldn’t go out to run. Walking no problem, running is hard, but it’s supposed to be good for me so I’m doing it.

Keep safe everyone, I’m off for a shower and a seat in the garden to recover.

Fantastic run, great time. 10k does get easier. I hated it 1st time, couldn't see the point of running that long. Then spring and lockdown came and turns out I love longer runs. Never say never. Good luck with sub30 5k. Happy running 🤗

Thanks Buddy. I picked such a great day to do it. My walk home afterwards was really lovely. I stopped in our park to do my stretches. Love this weather.

I used to live on the north coast, wind was the main problem there, I don’t miss that, but would love a beach again.
