So that brings my magic running to a close. I had to have a few days off running from my last 10k on tuesday as my calves were a bit achey, so didn't manage to get out until tonight.
I found my pace surprisingly fast, with first k at 5:54 then 5:47 then 5:50 so was on for sub 30min 5k but ran out of puff approaching 4k so walked for 10secs or so but still managed a 6min split. But then I struggle to run again after having walked so called it a day at 4.7k. Definitely a sub 30min possibility ahead though, so maybe my garmins 27min 5k race prediction isn't complete tosh.
That's me for a few days, then i'm gonna start trying to stretch out to 12k+ with some slow pace running.
Thanks ju-ju

Wow, that seems quick to me: I think I'll pop down to BetFred and stick some notes on new you doing a sub 30 min 5k before England work out what the heck went wrong in Scotland. Well done.
Didn't watch the game, as I rarely do.. being a scot means getting used to disappointment interspersed with occasional joy once or twice in a decade lol
Thanks JNR.. though i'm back in that wilderness staring at the signpost with HM one way and Triathlon the other way. Not really much of a swimmer though :S
Ha, don't forget it will be Springtime soon! A new season to run in. It will be walmer, the trees will be blossoming, there will be flowers...you will be out there running without needing to worry about the cold and layers...
Running for fun and trying new routes can be factored in...
You have acheived so much..enjoy the freedom your sport gives you too sometimes.😊xx
