Started Week 3 of Ju-Ju-βs Magic 10K plan today which felt a bit odd being a Wednesday and all π€·ββοΈ
After my 6K for W2R3 on Monday I was feeling a bit tired and my shins were not at all happy with me π So yesterday I forced myself to rest properly, hydrated a lot, had a nice hot bath in the evening and went to bed fairly early.
Today I really wanted to apply the advice received from the more experienced runners and run without any self imposed pressure.
No specific BPM playlist, no PB goals and no forced pace/speed. I just opted for a funky house DJ set that I like and off I went πββοΈ Leaving competitive me at home!
I did want to try and run this shorter run at a pace I thought would be suitable for the 5K plus runs and to focus on my posture and breathing.
So, Iβm surprised and happy with these stats as I thought/felt like I was running much slower than I normally do when I think I am pushing myself ... maybe I donβt need to be pushing myself so hard? π€·ββοΈ I felt calm and in full control πͺ

If this run was a 5K it should/would be a sub 30 minutes - I think π€ with the splits all being sub 6 minutes π
