I am still an imposter most of the time and especially at an event. I don't usually advertise my runs to those who know me either lol. Once you get to the start you will be fine. Keep calm and keep telling yourself ' I can do this, I have trained for this'. Then go off and enjoy it!
Phew I'm glad I'm not the only one! I went for a steady 'maintenance' run today & it helped a lot actually as I was convinced I'd suddenly forgotten how to run. I think it helped to focus my breathing. I'm ready now, it's Just the race day logistics I'm worried about but even they're under as much control as they can be.
Youve done the training , you will be fine . Its a mixture of pre race nerves and excitement . Good innit ?
