Parkrun PB 4th Week in a Row!

We were Parkrun tourists today, visiting Wolverhampton. Both hubby and I got PB's, his being 21:21 and mine 29:02. We were both 2nd in our age categories. He came 15th overall and I was 29th female out of 106 females. That will be our last Parkrun for a couple of weeks as we head off on holiday next Saturday. I will however, get a couple more runs in before we go, and hopefully get to 10K distance on B2 10K, but then it's 2 weeks off running. This will give my sore joints some much needed rest after 17 months of uninterrupted running. We will be walking and possibly swimming though, so some exercise will be occurring!

We also did some parkrun tourism at Kesgrave today. I had 2nd child with me so no pb. Child 3 did his first ever parkrun so a pb for him in 42minutes. Child 1 did run with a local parkrunners aiming for 30 mins (her old pb) but she was running so well he got her in for 28.06. Amazing fun on a flat but grassy course. I was hesitant in running on a different surface at a new location but it was great fun! Sounds like you had a good parkrun tourism experience too, well done on your pb's. Enjoy your restful holiday.
