parkrun PB... and finally entered a 10K race!

Good evening everyone! What amazing marathoning today in London, inspiring stuff, eh?

parkrun was great yesterday morning, in 4 weeks I have improved my time by 5 minutes and this morning I got a PB of 32:51! I can already see the effects my longer midweek run is having on my parkrun times and it's only been a couple of weeks! Maybe - just maybe - 30 minutes is not as far away as I thought it was!

So, feeling optimistic, I have bitten the bullet entered a 10K race finally - Race for Life 10K in July, for CRUK! It will not be a road race, the uneven terrain is probably my main worry, I will have to strengthen my ankles and work on a lot before then, but I think I can do it! Wish me luck!

Of course you can do it Sarah.

You have time to fit in plenty of practice runs before then.  Gently does it.
