Week 4 Run 1

Got up at 6:30 to beat the heat. Friday is normally one of my lie-in days so it was harder than I thought it would be, considering I am often awake at 5:30...

The thing I like about the 5k-10K plan I am following is that it always starts with a 20 minute steady run. Well, until next week. Week 5 seems to be a rest week and then week 6 it switches to 25 minutes. Anyway, I digress.

I had to go for a fasting blood test this morning. So with that and the fact it was already quite warm, I just took things easy and enjoyed the view and the birdsong.

ETA

Even allowing days for too hot to run/minor injury/waaaay too busy, I reckon I ought to finish my plan by my birthday at the end of July.

It's basically where I am when I step out my back door (give or take a road crossing and a field 😀) I'm a lucky woman.
