For the first time since I started this running malarkey in October, I've now gone 3 days with no running & looks like I'm going to miss the weekend too. My DH had a dreadful cold last week & it's now my turn.

I was so looking forward to running this afternoon, beautiful sunny, crispy winter day & instead I'm snuggled up under my blanket with the tissues for company.

Having read that you should have a rest from running every 3-4 months, I've decided this is my rest week!!! πŸ˜΄πŸ€’

Hopefully next week I'll pick up my B210K with renewed energy!

A rest day every few days and a rest week ever few months. Sounds like a good strategy. Sorry you're feeling under the weather but hoping you will be better soon.

Hi Davoda . It's good to know I'm not the on,y one not running. I did my first B210k on Monday and loved it but then had twinges in Achilles' tendon and have done my best to be sensible and stay on the injury couch. I was going to run this morning, as I'm in danger of going cold turkey but decided to leave it another day. We're now away for the weekend, and although my running kit is in the back of my hubbies car and I did a lovely run from this hotel in Manchester in November (fir my week 5 run 3), I'm not sure if I will run tomorrow as we are going walking in the Yorkshire Dales later tomorrow and hopefully on Sunday and I don't want to overdo it.

Hopefully we can complete Week 1 of B210k next week. πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€“

Razouski . I think you & I are a bit alike. (You're faster than me!)

So I think you should consider not running over the weekend (I know!!!) It sounds like you have a pretty full weekend in the Dales & if you further injure that Achilles, you might not get to the Dales at all & prolong your stay on the IC. 😞 I think we've both probably been pretty full on since we started & it probably is time to give our bodies a rest.

I'm looking at this way, if I rest during this bug, then I'll not have to rest for another 6 -8 weeks!!

So next week we can take up our B210K refreshed & ready to go! πŸƒπŸƒπŸ˜‰

Sounds like a good plan. πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Sorry to hear your not well Davoda , there are some nasty bugs about. Rest is best, running will wait til you're better.

I had all of December off with a chest cough and zero energy, but went out Saturday morning and did a 30 min non stop run without any problem..😊 I'm going to get back on the B210k plan next run.

Take care.x
