Today is the first anniversary of when I started nervously running.
I really wanted to run this week but injured a tendon overtraining for the half marathon and I've been on the I.C and slowly improving.
It's been easy to rest the last week as I'm sunning myself on a beautiful Greek island but I snuck running gear in the suitcase and I've been praying to get a little run in!
I thought I could risk it today so up a bit earlier, hoping I wasn't too dehydrated from wine and cocktails last night. I did a gentle plod around the bay and port area which was really special and hopefully worth the slight niggle I have in my leg now.
I think I'm definitely addicted to it now. π

Happy runniversary CH! I just ran my runniversary run too - can you believe how far weβve come? πββοΈπββοΈππ
Iβm so glad you got a run in. Fingers crossed youβre back to fitness again soon. Hey, at least you have gorgeous weather. It was π¦, π¨ and 9 degrees driving home from my run earlier. Say what? π«
Oh my word the weather here in Bristol has been horrendous today. π¦π¦π¦π¦π¨π¨π¨π¨ Weβre off to Brittany on Friday. It had better not follow us! π«π·
Congratulations. ππΌ Only one year & here you are, training for a HM and running while on holiday. ππ Lovely. Enjoy it all, and I hope the niggle is nothing important.
Thanks Granspeed, it's a fantastic program and the support in the forum is amazing. A year ago I couldn't imagine I would ever have ran a half marathon!
Well I canβt imagine me doing it, ever, but Iβve got nearly 7 months to go so we donβt know... π³ I totally agree about both programme & forum! Magical results everywhere. ππ
