I posted on here the other day that I had only hit 10k the once and had been struggling since since then I ran 10k on Friday and 10k on Monday and felt brilliant I'm looking to add a Km on my next run but feeling back on track! I've set myself a personal goal of running 100km in January which is helping with motivation!

Well done! That's the beauty of this forum - you post your wish and, with a bit of extra effort, it comes true!!

Running for me has been pretty variable depending on my legs mainly. I graduated and got up to 5k and then progressed to a once a week 10, even did one 14k when calf pain struck and although I could still go out, I had to reduce to run walk and my confidence was knocked. Just again up to 2 x 5k and a 10k at a comfortable pace. Just a matter of trying to run sensibly. I found re-introducing run walking allowed me to recover and regain confidence again. Also I was able to run further without injuring myself and the enjoyment increased too. I ran for 100 double paces, walked for 100! Felt like a backwards step at the time but it got me through to continuous running again
