Hi for the first time in a week I set my alarm for 5.15 when it went off my first thought was urghh but I got up and out by 5.30,did intend to do my usual 50 minute run but was prepared to stop after 30 if needed to as have been ill this week anyway I really enjoyed this morning's run and by the time 50 minutes came around I'd done nearly 9K and felt fine so thought I would push to 10K or an hour whichever came first was so happy to have run my first ever 10k,I had my tomtom watch and phone running 3 apps and they all said the same distance for once I even checked the tomtom against the car earlier in the week and they tallied, I don't care how far I run but would like it to be accurate,i think I will now run for an hour each time I go out and maybe one longer run when have day off and no kids.

Thanks it felt great still not convinced I did it that's why I have all the apps running and checked the watch against the car counter but then again I'm good at self doubt π
That's what I do Steve. An hour is a good run and once a week a bit longer if mind and body are willing is manageable. I do a longer run at the weekend because during the week I need to get home, showered and head to work. Flipping heck though 5.15! I dragged myself out of bed at 6 but I don't think I'll ever manage 5. What time do you go to bed?
