I am currently undergoing chemo before surgery for BC. I have had three treatments of EC and am now on Docetaxol with pertuzumab and trastuzumab but since being on this (had 2 so far, another one to go) I have noticed a discharge. I stopped my periods when I was 46 and was put on hrt due to not being 50 or over to maintain healthy bones and due to my having an eating disorder since 17. However diagnosed with BC when 49 and came off hrt as it is a hormone related tunour. This discharge is abit like the end of a period, not clear, but light brown sort of? Can anyone offer any help with what this is or what causes it? I have asked at the hospital and they just said to use some kind of lubricant as due to the chemo probably making me dry from lack or oestrogen etc. I don't really understand this as I am wanting to know what the discharge is from or is. There is a slight smell with it and it's not very nice at all. I am wearing a liner all the time.
Concerned and upset with this so please any advice would be appreciated

Thanks for that Sebsmum. I asked again on a call with the hospital and was told as had thrush in mouth and down below it could still be there and not gone? I don't think this is the cause however as I have suffered from thrush before BC and once used pessary and cream always goes. This seems different. I have a consultant review for my scans Monday so will mention then. How long did it last for you??
Thank you for letting me know this. I am hoping it will go, if not before, then after my last treatment this Thursday coming. Thanks for your advice xx
