I have been been on the following metastatic antibodies for 4 years: Perjeta (pertuzumab) and herceptin (trasruzumab) every three weeks They are keeping my stage 4 Mets in remission. My oncologist said that many people go off of that regiment after 4 years.

Hi everyone.I have HER2 + breast cancer,which has spread to my bones and liver.I had 6 cycles of chemotherapy(trastuzumab, pertuzumab and docetaxel).Now they give me an injection every 3 weeks (Pertuzumab and Trastuzumab).

Also is there any alternative to pertuzumab injection? Thanks

I am curious as to what others have found . My oncologist says it is very well tolerated . Has anyone had “ bad days” after infusion day ? Fatigue etc. .? Please share any tips . Thank you Luann That flower lady

I am taking a month off treatment and will resume with the Pertuzumab & Trastuzumab after an echocardiogram . I am looking forward to a little more energy , starting to work a little again, hair growing back , and getting outdoors more .

I had scan on Feb 1 the oncologist called me today to say that she was really pleased with the results of the scan and suggested that I do 2 more treatments of the Paclitaxel and then continue with the Pertuzumab & Trastuzumab every 3 weeks .

Update on IV chemo of paclitaxel, traztuzumab , pertuzumab treatments for triple positive metastatic breast cancer . After progression on Ibrance and faslodex injections . Mets present in bones , lungs ( small ) liver 3 Mets and a few active lymph nodes. Round 1 is completed! So far not too bad .

I am having a port installed this Wednesday ( Merry Christmas to Me lol ) and start an IV a chemo combination of Paclitaxel ( Taxol ) , Trastuzumab ( Herceptin ) & Pertuzumab ( Perjeta ) the first week in January. If anyone has any experience with this combo I would love to hear from you .

My oncologist is suggesting one or the other treatments for progression of cancer on ibrance and faslodex . But on referring to the recent studies the recommended standard of care for such patients is Taxane+trastuzumab+pertuzumab. Can anyone guide me regarding these medicines as the cost is quiet high and I want to know if there are really any provisions to get them for free after the initial 14 cycles.
