Nipples are scary looking after surgery

I had a nipple sparing mastectomy 13 day ago. The doctor told me my nipples were stressed and not happy, and to apply antibiotic ointment twice a day. They look black and one is peeling. I am taking arnica pills and still on antibiotics. Is this normal?

I had nipple reconstruction and the bottom of mine is black. The dressing nurse told me that it might not of taken. It is now coming off. I would contact the breast care nurses to lut your mind at rest x
