We are a research team from @Swansea University named CancerDetect, working on a blood test for early detection of patients with breast cancer, participating in @Innovate UK’s @ICURe Discover Programme.
We're developing a blood test for early breast cancer detection.
We wonder what your thoughts might be on having a blood test that could help to detect breast cancer earlier?

Hello. I think this is fantastic although slightly confused why you have posted on this site when we have all had or are dealing with breast cancer. Is it a test that would detect whether it might still be present or might return? Or have I totally misunderstood.
Hello, the test is still in the early stages of development so we are focussing on detecting breast cancer earlier. There is potential to develop this further to monitor response to treatment as well!
Having listened to your video, I think it sounds a great idea, especially as after having breast cancer last year and going for my first mammogram and the hospital found another lump!
Of course in the research stage it is different but if a blood test were to become widely available it must be evidenced based, backed by research including RCT and reliably accurate. If there are many false positives than there is more harm than benefit.
