Waiting for surgery
Hi,I'm struggling at the moment. I'm waiting for surgery (full hysterectomy, bowel resection, endo excision). I was told in May 23 it wouldn't be before a year. Then I was told July 24. I was then told they book monthly so ive been on the hope each month that it could be next month and getting by month

High anterior resection due to Endometriosis
Has anyone had a bowel resection because of their endometriosis? I have a large ‘mushroom lesion’ that potentially could become an obstruction. I don’t have all the details yet but am just wondering if anyone else has had this/ had this op and could give me some insight.

Bowel shaving/resection and hysterectomy. Anyone had surgery for these together in one surgery?
Hi all. I am 46 years old, stage 4 deep infiltrating endo and possibly adenomyosis, had previously an excision surgery to remove chocolate cysts in my 20s. I am due for a hysterectomy, removal of one or both ovaries and a bowel shaving in a months time. I was told there are lots of adhesions between

no cure
I’m pleased to see the post telling everyone about ‘how their endometriosis was cured’ has been taken down. There is NO CURE! Even if you have all diseased tissue removed you still have the disease. Some are lucky and don’t get a reoccurrence of the diseased tissue but for most the disease comes back

B12 shots with folic acid
So, I was diagnosed with b12 and folic acid defficiency due to a bowel resection I had. GP has put me on 12 weekly Hydroxocobalamin 1mg IM injections as well as folic acid 5mg 3 month course. He warned me not to take the folic acid till a month after my first b12 jab. I was just wondering with it being

I have had CKD3B for 7 years. I am 76 years old. I suffered from end stage interstitial cystitis After battling it for 5 years. My ureters would back up fluid into the kidney and cause UTIs and hydrophynosis, landing me in the hospital on IV antibiotics for 5-6 days, 6 times that year. My urologist

Stomach cramps
Hi lovely ladies! My mum is 6 weeks post primary debulking surgery, and bowel resection and is still having some bowel issues. She's had pretty bad stomach cramping all day today. Is this normal? Does anyone have any tips? She's still on laxatives and drinking peppermint tea for gas. Would love to hear

bowel blockage
Had bowel resection 6 years ago . Iliostomy bag and then successful reversal . Had an appendectomy about a year later, because my appendix were stuck to my ileostomy scar internally. I had pain and went to the hospital, but my surgery wasn’t emergency. I was scheduled about two weeks later for the appendectomy

Bowel or endometrioma pain?
Hi I'm hoping someone can shed a bit of light on my pain. I have endo in lots of places in POD on ligaments and my bowel.I also have a 5cm endometrioma. I am down for surgery for hysterectomy as I have adenomyosis and endo extraction. I've opted out of a bowel resection as the waiting list is longer
