loss of last grandparent

I lost my grandad who was my last grandparent last week. He was my father figure as my dad was on and off present in my childhood. I’m so lost and upset and I just don’t know how to feel. I’ve had nightmares every night since about bad things happening and other people dying which is affecting my sleep really badly. Any advice would be great

Our grandparents play a huge role in our lives, so I’m not surprised how upset you are.

It’s not uncommon to have disturbed sleep after losing a loved one, but if it continues for too long then do have a chat with your doctor or a therapist.
