I would say by far the emotional side, the physical side settled after the initial shock for me but the emotional side hits over and over again and will always be there to some degree.

Thank you Tilly1000

I think a lot of would agree with you about this.

I do know of many who have had physical illness triggered by loss, and I can understand that too<3

I know one of my losses is recent, but also have my brother who died 33 years ago but there are two important dates coming up very soon! My brother died on the 5th of June & my Mums birthday on the 15 June so I'm not looking forward to either I can't get to either of them! So at the moment for me they're both get at me + My health!

My brother is too far for me to travel at the moment, and we're still waiting to scatter Mum's ashes!! It's all wrenching in my stomach & it hurts so much, and it's all messing with my head with it all coming in so quickly!

I am gonna light a candle in both those days

I can't put any flowers 💐in the house as my cat 🐱 eats the flowers! Any other ideas are welcome! Yes I do have 2 mad cats spoilt cats, but I wouldn't be with them.

Sorry Chloe if posted this all in the wrong place in the site!

Sorry for the essay!

Hello spykey,

yes, it's a difficult time when anniversaries come together but please try to take each one separately, it will help you through each day as it comes.

Its's hard not being able to travel right now and I do feel for you.

Perhaps you could cook a meal or bake something that each of them loved, something simple, but it will make you feel connected.
