My Sheffield Visit update

Hi guys.My appointment with Sheffield, they were amazing, however as I was given it appears a cancellation appointment there was no info from Salford or paperwork. I had to go through everything whilst Dr Prire made notes. I then had an examination very thourgh and more discussions. Basically I have to start from scratch, blood tests mri etc. She explained that I had Ataxi and only call it this nothing else and to ignore everything else that the locum neroligist had told me. She will gather all the info from Salford and see me in 6 months. I had all the blood tests 6 and left. She did say I had a complex case which I all ready knew about.

Question.... Is this a normal experience?

I understand, after a few days to digest this but since then have had burning feet and legs cannot sleep so visit to docs who have prescribed gabapentin.

I hope your all keeping as well as can be.

Take good care. Xx

🤔 At my referral to London, despite the fact that they had notes, I had to start from scratch recounting what had happened to me. It seems you had a good appointment, the Neurologist seems to been very thorough🙂

🤔 Could it be that the recent stress of the appointment caused a flare up of symptoms. I hope it all settles down ASAP 🙂
