When I put my head forward and down all I feel dizzy and sick. It doesn’t seem to happen when I put my head back.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there any medication that can help?

I feel sick and dizzy when I put my head forward and also when I put it backwards!
Sorry I don't have any medication for this. If I put my head forward I try to make sure that I'm safe and not going to fall. I try not to put my head back.
But then I can feel sick and dizzy for no apparent reason. Then I think it's tiredness . . .
Good luck. I hope someone gives you a reply more helpful than mine.
Love

I get more dizziness now too, whenever I move my head such as turning, laying down. If your blood pressure is ok I think it is a ‘normal’ symptom of Ataxia, if annoying!
I'm gong to ask the doctor. I'm not very hopeful but I'll report back.
😬 This happens to me too, and from what I’ve read from other people it’s very common. It also happens to me when I turn quickly in bed 🙄 In my case, this is said to be due to BPPV ( Benign Paroxysmal Posterior Vertigo) and it’s possible to test for this. There are medications to try, so it’s worth asking🙂 I actually dread the hairdressers, and the dentist.
I do too. I’m not on anything for it though. Before my diagnosis I had Labrynthitis which made me deaf in one ear so I’d always put it down to an inner ear problem. x
I've been taking Betahistine for a few days and it seems to be working the doctor prescribed it!
