Like many of us I’m prone to falls, my most serious falls have occurred when I’ve been alone and been unconscious .so I really need to consider a ‘Fall Alert’.

I already know about some options but I’d never come across this one..somebody on a different ataxia support group has recently bought this..

My husband has this, it's been really useful and, best of all for him, looks just like an ordinary smart watch.

Anything that helps people who needs it can never be a bad idea at the very least it can give confidence.

I could have done with something like that when I was a young soldier as I was always falling over although for different reasons 😇.

Take care all.

I have an NHS community alarm wrist button. There is a charge for this service but not sure how much? Haven't had to use it yet but it's definitely a good safety measure.

I have an apple watch which records not only falls and contacts up to 4 relstoves and the emergancy services if you have fallen and unconcious but also does your E.C.G. , Blood pressure, Heart Rate, and many other thing. It might be expensive at first but there are No services charges. It will also last for several years abd save you pounds in service charges.
