Hi has anyone had any luck with walking frames you can get ones with wheels on the front and back they also turn ok, I have a 4 wheel rollator. Just asking for indoor use only. They’re smaller than my rollator so just looking for advice.
Help please : Hi has anyone had any luck with... - Ataxia UK
Help please

I have a serving trolley with brakes which is very useful. I am full-time wheelchair now but hubby still uses trolley. He has Parkinsons.
🤔This may be one of the most least expensive options…there are lots of Indoor Rollators..some with one tray.. and many are £100+

This is what I wanted advice on money not an issue
I’m close to needing an indoor walking frame. Maybe a consideration is if you have carpets or wood floors ie the lifting and putting down vs pushing with wood floors, wheels seems a good idea with wood but with carpet and no wheels not to sure might depend on upper body strength.
This information has not come from a robot but someone with the same IQ as a bag of chips 😂.
You take care my friend.
yes difficult decision as I need to move to one level this year and have fallen over my indoor rollator recently because too wide for the house
Use a tray rollator for carrying stuff and ultra light rollator for everything else as I can make that narrower made by acre
Good luck 💕
I have an indoor one which is slightly smaller all round, it is pricey but works so well for me in my home.
My partner has ataxia diagnosed 18 years ago and trying to find a really useful trolleyhas been like seeking the holy grail. She tried serving trolley type as that had 4 wheels that each rotated making it easy to manoeuvre but had no brakes and as she’s tall she stopped when using it which is exactly the opposite of what was needed to aid improved posture and balance. She also tried one like in the picture below . This was taller so helped a better walking stance but hopeless as it had fixed wheels at the back. I changed the rear wheels to ones that could rotate but again no brakes and either way not good on carpet. We now have hard floor throughout the house. The only type that seem to cover the posture/ manoeuvrability/ brake issues are the Topro Taurus or Bure stand tall walkers ….. and they are far too big for the small bungalow we have! Plus needing to go to Ireland Scotland etc to try one out would have been an extra issue. Have also tried various companies with illustrations of the kind of product needed but so far no help as not a big enough market to make building them cost effective apparently. Good luck x
What about this one from Amazon? amzn.eu/d/9ra4Cd0
