Woke up last night about 4am and felt as though I was definitely was gonna die, I had this huge overwhelming fear but could not remember any other symptoms that explain a panic attack.

Yes thats standard stuff, just another symptom, to try and make you freak out. I've had it, and its bloody scary. Dont worry to much, honest,

Just see it as another symptom, not harmful, and try what I said in my other reply to your other question.

i get this feeling of doom come over me and it feels like death, it usally wears of with some breathing exercises but its bloody awful so do sympathise. x
