Is this anxiety?

The other day when i was at work i got hot cofee spiled all over me. I was like crying and my upper right leg was all red. This happened at 430 when i got to work at 3. :( i feel like my job is getting really stressful and when this happened i was having some chest pain and was sweating a lot. Isnt this a sign of an anxiety attack? The other day i was also thinking about the past for some reason of an event that happened over 1 year ago and i cant seem to move on why? It feels like there is a lot wrong with me and idk why and idk what to do, what should I do?

Go get a check up..

You will be ok. I'd not like coffee spilled over me, must have been painful?

What do you usually do when you get anxious do you have anything that stops it?

Nothing usually stops it when i am anxious it takes a while for my heart rate to slow down

You need to find a distraction, it's all about how you think when it kicks in. Don't worry about the heart rate, that's natural. You got to do something to take your thoughts away from negative and turn them to something positive. So find yourself something that will challenge your mind for next time anxiety kicks in, anxiety is only thoughts, replace them with good thoughts.

Hey There, that sounds like a rough one. I've been there, quite literally, I worked in a café for 5 years and had my share of accidents 😋, it's definitely normal to be a bit upset when it happens especially if you've been scalded. As far as the past goes, don't worry about it, what's done is done and couldn't have happened any other way than the way it did. I can't recommend mindfullness meditation enough. I've been practicing a little each day for a month now and it's done wonders for me and my relationships, I'm present a lot more of the time and calmer too, much less ruminating on what could be or what could have been. (The Headspace app is a great way into it). I hope you can find some inner peace.
