Hi Daviski

So sorry to hear your having a bad day.

The thoughts that you have some disease would have shown up in the blood test so please try and dismiss this thought from your mind.

Sometimes pain is due to anxiety and stress and you can trick the body to bring on all sorts of things. I have done this myself many times.

Have you spoken to your Doctor about the way you are feeling and have they given you any advice and help.

I know right now you feel at a low ebb but please don't wish upon yourself death, in time this feeling will fade and you will have better days. Life is precious and even though we are experiencing pain and bad days try and work through it.

I hope you feel better soon take care

Best wishes Seyi xxx

Keep blogging people here are good listeners and give great advice and i am sure many people have had what your going through now........God Bless

Hello

I live in Yorkshire also

I am in my forties - I feel life shouldnt be like this

I am worrying about being stalked - I am on sertraline - I went to doctors last week - i am sick of going

Do they have side effects sertraline ?

in reply toDaviski

Sorry hun I replied before I saw this... I was in the doctors every week for at least 3 months that's what they are there for. Meds do take time to settle down but keep going to the doctors. Have they offered you counselling or therapy? X

If ur bloods are ok u dont have any deseases. Its your anxiety. I have pains in my joints. I get pains in my chest. I have strange skin sensations. All could be linked to horrible conditions but after my doc did all the tests and pronounced me fit we new these pains and itching r due to anxiety. As soon as any anxiety symptoms surface i take deep relaxing breaths and try to think positive knowing they will go away. Try and be positive. Keep blogging, we all go through this

Hi I am on sertroline. They do have side-effects but I don't have any. You can google it like I did. Common ones include a dry mouth and I have a bit of that. Be careful if you are cutting down or trying to come off them. I have found that I get the shakes and feel week and dizzy and a bit spaced out.

No its shooting pains in my legs that i have

i fear for the future

Pains in the legs are not unknown with sertraline - if you've been on them for a month or more and they are still giving you pains and not helping it might be worth going back to your doctors and changing your SSRI. Everyone reacts to different SSRIs differently so it may take a little while to find one that suits you. The anxiety definitely sounds like health anxiety - you could try giving "Overcoming Health Anxiety" by Rob Wilson and David Veale a read :)

Hi Daviski,

It sounds like you are going through a difficult situation. You are doing the right thing in discussing how you are feeling as we know it is helpful to talk about problems. It’s important to know that help is available and that you can start to feel better and improve given the right support.

It is a good idea to talk through the way you are feeling with a friend or family member if you can. If you need to talk with someone immediately you can call the Samaritans.

It is also worth considering making an appointment with your GP. We find that talking through things with a counsellor or therapist can help you explore how you are feeling and help you make positive choices that will benefit you.

Included below are some numbers which you may find helpful including Anxiety UK’s helpline.

Take care

Hello Daviski. you don't want to die, love. You have a temporary illness which will go away one day. Have you been like this before, or is this the first 'outbreak'? The tablets will certainly help and you should get someone to have a chat with. your doctor will find you someone, especially if they think you want to die. So many of us have been like you. My son is having a bad patch like this, but I was like it once, so I can reassure him that it will go. Look beyond. Yorkshire? You lucky wotsit! You can look at some beautiful scenery while you recover. Yorkshire is well worth living for! You are young and there can be good times ahead - honest! I was in my forties when I was bad, and I thought I was too old to make it. Stupid me. I'm 62 now and am having fun. I realise how young forties are. Take it easy, accept help and be hopeful. Will keep you in my thoughts. xxx

All drugs do carry side effects , that is for sure.

I suffer from nerve pain the doc gave me tabs and I reacted to them.

So I know just how you can suffer, its was awful in fact it always the same fear for me , that any min I am going die , doctors told me years ago your fine your healthy , and it one of those things it does not always show.

No broken arm for people to see they understand that but when our fight or flight comes into place we are wonder what is going on , stress brings us this worry, and fea.

So you dont want to die , you feel helpless and want the feeling to go away as you are tired of feeling afraid that you are going to die. I know it happens to me and as for years, but now what is does go away , I joined a group and I attended for nearly three years well worth it . it

certainly as helped me through some bad times.

One thing for sure is to remember emotions are going to effects US more we are different we are feel our emotions more, that is for sure, were some do not give a second thought we give ten or eleven about things, over and over it goes , did i upset them , did i do the wrong thng, did i do this did i do that,,,, always about as to be our fault ,, or we did it wrong ,, but i about our self and how we feel about self ,, our self esteem needs to be there.

When we get into bad places we bring ourselves down, but we have to work on ourselves and self belief this can be done.

So go to the groups and get the doctor to send you if needed, well worth it .Lets not be hard on ourselves we are good people , and deserve to be happy. B
