To my shock today, when I came home,my Son 15 had brought his xbox downstairs into the lounge. He did this not to annoy me but play in the lounge to keep me company during this rotten time. You know,it works as I feel calmer and happier with his company, bless you son,dad loves you x.Little things eh!

It's the little things that make the biggest difference.

You have a caring and thoughtful son, a credit to you.

Hope you feel better soon.xx

How wonderful as often at that age they are "locked in their bedroom" for fear of talking to someone

I am also very lucky I have a 16 year old daughter who keeps me company, measures out my Oramorph and runs and fetches for me all the time when I am feeling very bad or in too much pain. She is always smiling and joking around. She lives in a very happy place, her friends call her a hippy. i just call her my little ray of sunshine. I would be lost without her

I hope things get a little easier for you soon

It is the little things,a small maybe unspoken thought that makes this world a better place, how nice of your son, more so he decided to do it himself

I'm always calmer when my kids are with me,my 16 year old daughter is a great support and also lives in a happy place. My son is caring too but does spend far too much time on the Xbox. These are the things that get me through and after my daughter being in hospital the week before last(she had an emergency op)it's made me realise even more how precious they are.
