Can bright lights or just lights in general affect anxiety?

Your health anxiety is really playing you up lately, isn't it warkie? And I sympathise with you. The answer is yes, it can. I think I explained before, it can affect any part of your body and the eyes, being very sensitive, can be badly affected. When I suffered and was driving the street lights blurred; very frightening until I realised it was tired eyes plus nerves that caused it. 'Normal' people get this but we sufferers tend to exaggerate everything and frighten ourselves. We are doing it to ourselves. There is no monster out there doing it. Try and accept your bodily symptoms and realise they are the symptoms of anxiety. I know you have been to your GP. If it worries you go to your optician. You will almost certainly find your eyes are OK. Stick with it, warkie. Regards. jonathan.
Ive been to the opticians and everything is fine, apart from needing new glasses, yeah its playing up,ive been great at the beginning of the week, its just this fear of passing out thats making me bad,and i keep thinking to myself if i constantly think about it it will really happen
It wont happen!! But constantly thinking about it will make you feel bad. Thirty years go I thought I was going to pass out; every day in fact, but, surprise, surprise, I never did or have. Try not to worry so much. These are typical symptoms of anxiety and will pass. Fretting about them will make them worse. Keep your pecker up. Best wishes. jonathan.
