Hi Pb , I think a lot of the pain is caused by being so tense and staying that way. Breathing so very shallow as well. As soon as you realise that a part of your body is tense , relax it . Same with breathing.. breathe in through the nose hold a sec then out through the mouth. This very simple tech niche is amazingly good! I could flop asleep now I think ! make it a habit . I used to get the chest pain too and it did frighten me. Love x Ella x

Hello Ella, I'm still giving up smoking hun and I think I just worked myself up into a state, I've waited in all day for workmen that where due before 12 but came at two. They came without parts they needed and now left a shabby job. So yeh quite stressed lol and I didn't know where to turn. And now I'm just waiting for something bad to happen.

How are you?

Hope you're well hun x

And for the same reasons as below, warkie. j.

Pain is caused by the messages being sent by the brain via the central NERVOUS system to parts of the body to give us warning of impending danger. Remember. The central NERVOUS system. There you have why we get pain in nervous illness. The nerves are jarred; upset and give false messages. Recently my computer played up. Although it had all the right information to function it was misinterpreting that information and sending back false messages. Its motherboard was upset. It was in an anxiety state. (Yes it was, poor old thing). The same with us. Our nervous system is still good and perfectly sound, but we feed it the wrong information and it reacts accordingly in the only way it knows. It sends out warnings in the form of pain because it senses danger. These pains occur randomly. Headache one day backache the next so we do not know, to put it crudely, whether we are on our backsides or our elbow!! If you expect everything in nervous illness it is always a pleasant surprise when nothing happens. That's it, or you will call me a pain in the butt. Blessings. jontahn.

There's that 'jontahn' again. Who is he? jonathan.
