Please be very careful about asking to meet people. I'm sure people on here can be trusted, but you never know who's out there on the Internet, looking. As your post is not locked to the HU community , anyone can read it. Please keep yourself safe.
Have you thought about checking locally, to see if there are any groups around ?
My friend suggested this to me for my husband. Idk if you have a branch in your area or indeed if it's of interest to you , but I thought I'd mention it.
