It seems silly to have a group for people with anxiety because people will probably not show up but I think it would be beneficial and give exposure for people. I think the people attending such a group are dedicated to overcoming and dealing with their anxiety and those are people to learn from. One could learn from one another and practice their skills. I have been searching throughout near by areas in northern florida but have not been successful in finding anything. Are there any groups like this or should I just go find a general interest group for exposure? Do you know hard that is?

Any groups to attend for anxiety?
There is no inperson support group for anxiety near me either. All I can do is keep up with online support groups and see my therapist and psychiatrist. Do you have sympathetic friends who would understand.
Hello. Quick question: are any of the online support groups you attend Zoom type meetings? There used to be an in person group where I live, but it stopped with Covid and never returned.
No Zoom support groups that I've been able to find. 7 cups of tea does offer online chats for several people at a time. They also offer a chat with a volunteer listener. Not Zoom, like texting back and forth in real time.
Thanks for the resource. I’ll definitely check it out. I’ve suffered with anxiety (social, general, and OCD) since I was a kid, but it became debilitating about 3 years ago. I’m working with a therapist and online support through NAMI, and I think I’m starting to see some positive changes. They’re subtle changes, but still changes nonetheless. If there aren’t any Zoom meetings for anxiety, maybe we could get a group of others with anxiety and start one?
Even if it is a small group of us, I'd be willing to get together. We start with 3 and we go from there. I could get some great therapists to join too. I propose every Tuesday 7PM ET?
