Debilitating Anxiety

Hi Voxien, I can relate it is awful. I can't recommend the work of Dr Harry Barry enough, if I had access to his work 20 years ago I would probably be free of anxiety now (currently working through his book), his methods actually work. Here is his YouTube channel youtube.com/watch?v=IitN-3x... . Wishing you peace and health.
I have found relief with DBT and the right anxiety meds. The meds allow me to think and use three strategies I’m learning, and DBT was actually a godsend for me since I was so bad I went to inpatient psych care. They did well to get me the right meds.
I havent tried DBT yet, I will try that now.
I highly recommend it. Don’t find just a counselor that uses DBT techniques. Actually find a DBT clinic. True DBT does weekly sessions one on one with counselor to learn and practice specific skills, hey also have 24/7 calling for emergencies. Then you can do group therapy to further practice. Some are inpatient, but there are definitely outpatient too.
Hope you are feeling better. Here for support anytime
