I am dealing with a lot recently, and have been getting aching in my shoulder and down my arm. The GP has given me Pregalin 75ml. for nerve pain and anxiety. The chemist warned me I may feel a" little odd" I took one last night and they totally made me feel spaced out like I had been drugged. I am so tired today and finding it hard to work. I also have a bad headache. The pharmacist suggests 25ml tablet instead as I am new to this drug. Does any one else take this med and has it helped them.? Thank you

Hi there Sparrow58...I too am on Pregalin 75 mg..it also made me feel odd and unsteady, but the more I took in the days after I feel alot better. I have compressed fractures in my back around spine area, I feel much better and can walk and move around much better...and it really helps with my anxiety as well. I have read all different stories on other people's experiences with this Drug, everyone is different. Hope this helps, it really works for me, am so happy I was prescribed this Medication, I literally could not do as much as I do now.
Thank you Trace. I called the GP surgery and spoke to the pharmacist who has given me a lower dose 25mg, she said it is better to start on a low dose. The ache in my shoulder is annoying but not that bad I did explain this to the GP. Let's hope this makes the side effects less severe. All the best x
Hello Sparrow 58 I am on Pregabalin and it has been amazing I was prescribed it after my knee replacement where my sciatic nerve was affected the pain was horrendous
After being on it for a little while I noticed how much more I enjoyed things and my anxiety was so much less
I really hope that you will be able to take it and it helps you
