Anxiety, I started yesterday 75mg in morning and 75mg at night. I'm dizzy and spaced out, I've read this is a normal side affect but it's freaking me out a bit. Anyone know how long this last or anyone experienced it. Also any success stories about it???

I have not taken this medication but like most other medicine for anxiety they can have side effects, they usually lessen once the drug is in your system I know its awful but stick with it and I am sure you will feel the benefit shortly.
I've been taking pregabalin for over three years now and I have to say it is the best drug ever offered to me. I take 225mg twice per day after years of trying other anxyiolitics. It was prescribed by a psychiatrist and sanctioned by my GP. It is, however, an expensive drug and it may well be that your GP will have to review your prescription periodically.
The feelings you are experiencing are side effects which settle and leave after around three weeks. During my first week of taking them I could hardly hold a pen or move the mouse on the computer! That now, thankfully, is not the case although I still have two side effects which at times I wish would vanish but probably will not and they are walking with an awkward gait (in plain English appearing drunk!) and slurring of speech (drunk again!!).
Also, at the beginning of treatment with this drug you might experience a feeling of euphoria (your 'spaced out'). That, too, will go within three or so weeks.
Keep with them and after a month or so you will find your anxiety lessens.
I don't feel dizzy etc today but very anxious, how long did they take to work for yourself and also how did they up your dose and did you have to get to a high dose before you felt results?
Yes I had the same side effects hang in there it will get better. I found this was the best meds for me for anxiety and panic attacks. Just gone back on it after a very bad panic attack . It's really helped. Hope you start to feel better soon
