weird neck sensations

I’ve been having weird feelings in my neck for a few weeks on and off. The side and front. It moves anywhere from my chin to my collarbone. It’s not pain but I am definitely feeling something. Not cramping or sharp but uncomfortable. My throat feels fine. I have health anxiety so I’m trying to write this off as that but then my mind tells me my body is trying to tell me something. Anyone ever get this?

Hi Pandajill, it could very well be coming from anxiety/tension as clenching our teeth

can cause that referred discomfort. However, since we aren't doctors, it is best for you

to get this checked out by either your doctor or dentist. My best to you xx

very good point. Ty. My dentist did comment on my grinding and I have a mouth guard I don’t use. I’ll see if that helps.

I don’t know if you have a history of neck injury or maybe muscular weakness around the area of your neck. I have skeletal problems in my upper back and neck. I recently had an MRI which showed a degeneration in the joints, impinging on nerves. This can be felt in the arms, back and even dizziness. If you have any of these symptoms - go and see your GP with a list of symptoms to help you. Good luck ❤️
