Anxiety taking over, but am I over reacting?

I’ve faced a situation at work with a new boss, I’m in quite a senior position and I’ve done the job for a while, I might not be the most eager or ambitious person but I’ve all ways been told I do a good job and I know how to get things done.

But my new boss has started to do things, in an especially public way that I feel undermines me in my role, and makes it difficult to do things and they refuse to talk to me.

I’ve always had low level anxiety and it has stopped me from doing things in the past, however this issue has really triggered me, I’ve lost my appetite, can’t concentrate and can’t sleep, am I over reacting? Is this every day issues and I should just calm myself down?
