Hi Takamine! I take Eliquis too and it's nerve wracking! I was young when I was told I would need it to live for the rest of my life...hard pill to literally swallow, it was also a new drug at the time! I've hit my head many times while on it and luckily nothing ever came of it. My advice listen to pain and tell your doctor about it - also ice injuries as soon as you can after. Lastly it's amazing how much bloodwork can tell the doctor as well as radiology, and I haven't hesitated going to the ER or Urgent care when I was really worried! It's super hard having anxiety esp while on a blood thinner! Your worries are completely normal, understandable, and logical but try to remember these are safe meds, there's even an antidote for them, and if something bothers you see a doctor! Best of luck, it gets easier! Take care!
