Hi I'm also suffering from anxiety attacks and looking for natural supplements to assist me. Any suggestions out there?
Natural supplements: Hi I'm also suffering... - Anxiety Support
Natural supplements
I know you have asked about natural supplements I have tried all sorts of things but nothing has really helped me with my horrible anxiety BUT I have joined a Chinese Exercise class that I have found amazing and my anxiety is so much better now I have been going since March and the difference has been fantastic
I'm not suggesting you need to go and find a class but there is one exercise that I do at home and it stops my anxiety quickly
It's just arm swinging
Stand with your feet slightly apart arms at your side and then swing them round and round your back and tummy
It will get your heart pumping and get rid of the adrenaline pumping around your body that is making you feel anxious
If you do it for 10 minutes every now and then through your day I know it will help
Really hope you try it and you get benefit from it
Good luck
About 8 months ago, I implemented some changes in my life: I quit drinking alcohol, started exercising, and also started taking ashwaganda. I don’t know which of these helped the most (or if it was a combination of all three), but I’m much better off today. I’d recommend all three things.
There is a good book out you might find helpful, "The anti-anxiety food solution" by Trudy Scott that has a lot of good info on natural supplements and diet for anxiety and depression.
I've found ashwaganda, and valerian root tincture help and phosphatidyl serine for lowering cortisol. Also quit caffeine and limit alcohol. I also found CBD helpful for anxiety.
I use drops I purchased from a place called Q Sciences. I have a good friend that is a all natural health coach and she recommends them. They really help me and also knowing I have them on me helps my anxiety. Just knowing I have them their to use. I use the ones called Chill , they aren’t cheap but really work.
I just found out from my doctor that my vitamin D is low and that can cause depression and anxiety. I also read zinc can be helpful. Be careful, have a dr. test for vitamin D deficiency because you can overdose. Also if you are taking any antidepressants do not take St. Johns Wort or Tryptophan because they interact.
