I sometimes feel my legs don't work and I have to sit down until it gets better - about 5 to 10 minutes It always happens when I am stressed although sometimes I don't know why I am stressed. I also have bad balance which is very embarassing. It gets worse when I am with other people and I have lost all my confidence.

Sometimes called "jello legs" in people with Anxiety issues.

Of course always see your doctor to eliminate any physical

issues causing this. Welcome to a caring site. :) xx

I have the same exact thing and I think it’s anxiety. It kind of makes your legs stiffen up when you’re nervous so stressed out or panicking and sometimes I don’t even know why I’m anxious attack point. I also lose my balance too, but I did find out that I had an ear infection and that was it making my balance off and my allergies. Also make my balance off but I think the legs in my opinion I like that when you’re stressed when you’re anxious.

Relaaaaax, you are at a very safe place, where all of us have or had this phenomenon called 'jelly legs". It is due to adrenaline rush in emergency situations in Physiologically normal people....and in us as a manifestation of presence of our beloved friend "anxiety". My therapist always listened to me patiently whenever I discussed with her and told me....let us wait for your actually falling....that I have never in my 46 plus years of friendship with anxiety and jelly legs. Anyway, 2 tools always help me. First deep breathing and second "Progressive muscle relaxation" that my therapist calls 12 PMR as she taught me to do it at 12 muscle groups from feet to scalp.

Read about both and remember to do them when your legs tell you.....you are about to fall.....best wishes
