all I have for insurance is the VA. They put me on a few meds but it only helps a little. I wake up every morning and rock back and forth convincing myself that I can go to work. Lately haven't been able to make

Hello there,

what I found very useful and reassuring when I was going through a particularly tough time was the following books.

Dr Claire Weekes Collection 2 Books Set (Self Help for Your Nerves, Essential Help for Your Nerves) amzn.eu/d/fIrbDrV

Dr Weekes was a pioneer in the field of anxiety and her books seem to specifically talk to you (even if the language is a bit dated).

For what it's worth you are not alone in this and it sounds like your nerves are 'sensitised' as she called it.

Wishing you well, and I truly think these books are a good start to begin to have understanding and hopefully relief on this bewildering condition.

I see that you mentioned the VA so I assume you were a vet, are by chance suffering with ptsd or c-ptsd, that can cause the anxiety/depression.

Another good book by a guy who was in the same situation you are is "At last a life and beyond" by Paul David, it helped me as well as the DARE Anxiety book, youtube videos and phone app. You definitely can heal and recover and get on with your life.

Hang in there. I understand the deep anxiety. Making yourself take little walks. Any movement helps. Try to talk to someone, being less alone. You will get through it. Keep forcing yourself to leave the best you can.

Hey,

You might feel powerless if you're depressed. To track your life, you must follow some tips which I share here, get in a routine, set a goal for each day, eat healthy food, and practice some mind-relaxing therapies like massage(physiomobility.com/massage-..., yoga and some strengthening exercises, get enough sleep, take on some responsibilities, and challenge your negative thoughts. Natural depression therapies include altering your physical activity, manner of living, and even your way of thinking. These steps will help you recover from anxiety and depression without using medications.

My anxiety has taken a huge toll on me to where I can't leave home more than an hour without having an attack. Then I get very exhausted. I hate it, I used to be able to go hangout with friends and everything, now I'm prisoner to my bed all the time
