Hi ThirdEyes, Silent in what way? You don't display outer symptoms

like sweating shaking, crying etc?....

Everything internal? :) xx

in reply toAgora1

Gotcha...There was a time that I cried every single day.

I couldn't even talk without crying. It sounds like you are so

overwhelmed with fear and anxiety. What's going on right now?

in reply toAgora1

What did you experience 2 weeks ago? A movie, a news reel?

When we experience unreal scary thoughts, we have to try and

figure out where it came from. Once you do, the fear leaves

in reply toAgora1

it came out the blue, like a surprise attack of Anxiety

Anxiety can and does come out of the blue but most of the time something

pre-empts it. Something we've seen or heard that our subconscious mind

alerts us to a stored fear. We have to weed out what is real and what is not.

Accept these thoughts as a way of Anxiety getting your attention.

in reply toAgora1

I do accept them, but its too intense, it gets in my well being

Sorry friend, it's hard to know what you will react to but I found something

that I think may help. Give it a try. You are so wound up right now that it's going

to take some time to unwind and rid yourself of that intrusive thought.

This video that I'm suggesting is only 15 min long. Find a quiet place, dim the lights

but stay awake and full allow your subconscious mind to absorb the words spoken to you.

im having scary thoughts lately

Can you sort them out as to if they are real concerns

or imaginery what ifs from your anxiety?

in reply toAgora1

imagination what ifs

Agora1 profile image
Agora1 in reply to

OK that's a good start...the "what ifs" bring us down a lane of unfounded

fears and yet produce the same chemical release as if we were facing a tiger.

these visions feel real, thats what makes me panic

Agora1 profile image
Agora1 in reply to

I know they seem real but the more you focus on that thought,

the more real it becomes until you are hit with panic.

Let me look at Youtube and see if I can get you a Meditation for

Intrusive thoughts to at least calm you down some.

I understand how difficult it is to think clearly when in the throws of Panic. x

Scary thoughts can seem real because our body/mind system uses fear/anxiety to supposedly protect ourselves. The problem becomes when there is no actual real threat but our system has been activated for some reason. Your anxious mind blows it out of proportion and you start ruminating about it trying to make it stop, out-think it or figuring out where it came from all of which just feeds and perpetuates the anxiety. The reality is that we all have scary anxious thoughts at times most of them that we aren't even aware of, they are a normal part of being human. Anxiety/panic typically comes out of the blue but is usually because of stress or repressed emotions and is your mind and bodies way of trying to get your attention to deal with it. It can also be caused by or contributed to by physical imbalances from your hormones, thyroid and adrenals and even diet/food allergies. When you know what is really going on and how normal you are it defuse a lot of the fear.

What helped me was learning what anxiety/panic really is and how best to deal with it and I found the DARE Anxiety book, youtube videos and phone app to be very helpful along with their facebook group. Anxiety/panic can be caused by many different issues but learning how to deal with it and to never believe your anxious thoughts and feelings is the same regardless of why or how it originated. You may also consider medication at least temporarily to help you. With commitment and time you can definitely heal from panic/anxiety and get on with your life.

okay, but im having panic attacks when these thoughts play out in my mind, it feels too real

thats good to know, but im so scared that these emotions are so strong, that meds may not help....i feel these visions so uncomfortable

thats good to know
