I go for a walk. Burns off all the excess energy. Been walking the streets at 2/3 in the morning sometimes when they are that bad. Hope you feel better. X
Walk definitely or clean the house you need a distraction. Or cook? Or run a bath? Something o focus your mind on other than your panic x
Panic attacks are scary. I know I have had them for over 30 years. First accept the attack and understand its just a body symptom. Second, try to find a distraction-- a bath, aromatherapy, go for a walk,. Third, look into medication. Sometimes the symptoms can be relaxed with Xanax or something that will give immediate relief. I am not a fan of these meds, but you can take a low dose and feel better in 30 minutes. This will teach your body to relax. I have learned that using Xanax with OTHER behavior modification can actually work and make you less dependent on the drug. However, anxiety and panic attacks do not go away. They have to be managed and accepted. I hope this helps. You are not alone!

In all seriousness though, if you can download the song "Weightless" it's clinically proven to reduce anxiety and helps me. Then I pop a Benadryl to help me sleep. I hate anxiety!
