How do not fight symptoms of anxiety in the fight or flight response?

Stand still and accept being uncomfortable. That works for me. Accepting how I feel no matter what.

I also say the Serenity Prayer. “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And wisdom to know the difference.”

That's so powerful, the reason why accepting is super massively difficult is that the symptoms still hurt.

Understanding that anxiety is a paradox helps, the more you resist it the more it persists so the solution is to surrender to the feelings and try not feeding it with negative thoughts.

me exceed forward and get rid of the rest.

We all react differently to these suggestions.

Remember...you have nothing to lose by trying something new

I've been using the "flooding "technique I found on You Tube by Dr Harry Barry ( Love the name ) You have to imagine your feet are glued to the floor and let the sensations come and flood over you accept them tell yourself they are uncomfortable but they won't hurt you They always follow the same pattern and in 10 minutes they are gone It's hard at first but it does work and I promise you will feel great after and you will gradually lose your fear of it

All the very best xx

Absolutely, the feelings go away on their own, there is no turning back once the symptoms arise
