You won’t believe this

So my last post I had abdominal pain so I phoned gp and went to go get checked thankfully everything was ok! But on my way home I smashed my head off the taxi roof as I was getting in and it’s been bothering me ever since. I’ve contacted my gp twice in the last 7 days regarding this and also out of hours twice since and they keep telling me they don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I’m now on day 7 since and my head/temple is very tender to touch even when lying on that side at night on my pillow. More tender than it was when I first banged it. I’ve explained all this to them and still they won’t see me or have me even examined. I suffer extreme health anxiety so you can imagine I’m obsessing. I have no lumps bumps or wounds, I don’t feel sick or nauseous. My vision is normal. But every so often I feel slight pressure and ofcourse the tenderness. Could this be because I’m stressing and obsessing over it? I’m at a lost cause, I’ve called medical professionals 4 times in the last 7 days 🥺

Thanks guys and sorry for ranting!

Xxx

Hi Littlechopsxo, I hear what you are saying but know that if your doctor feltyou needed to have it checked into further, they would have ordered a CT Scan.

That tenderness and soreness can last a couple weeks. Try not to focus on it but

of course if any symptoms out of the ordinary appear, pick up that phone once again.

Before Christmas I fell down the last several steps going to the basement. Landed on

my knees and then fell forward and hit the side of my head on the edge of the wall.

It too took time to go away completely. Tender to the touch. Usually the first 48-72 hours

are critical in watching for any signs.

Things happen when you least expect it or like in your case just after seeing the doctor.

Hold tight, stay positive, hopefully you are near healing completely. My best :) xx
