Hi there, my son is 11 and has recently started having panic attacks. When speaking to him he says he is struggling to do normal things again after lockdown and he just feels so anxious all the time. How do I help him?

Kids anxiety
Hi Mammabear... Your son is certainly not alone in feeling anxiouswith all that's going on. However, since none of us are doctors or
have the capacity to help with a child's emotional issues, I would
suggest contacting a Child Psychiatrist who is geared towards the
younger generation.
I understand how difficult this is for any mother to see her children
suffer in this way. My heart goes out to you.
I'd like to Welcome you to this safe and caring support group. xx
I second Agora's advice, and also add a welcome.
I have a child who has anxiety (I do too). I have tried to stress to him that anxiety is very treatable. I have helped him learn tools for helping himself. There are a number of books for kids with anxiety written in easy to understand language. My child also went to group therapy/support group for kids.I know it is hard seeing your child suffer. 💚
My daughter started having anxiety at 11 right after we all had covid. There were a lot of factors that just piled up for her. She eventually got through it but it killed me having to push her. I suggested counseling, she refused, suggested talking to the doctor, she refused. She's very stubborn. So I just said I can't help you if you won't help yourself. I know it's harsh and I hated it but what was I suppose to do ya know. She's better now and hasn't really had anxiety since.
