Zoloft causing heart rhythm issues

Has anyone ever had Zoloft cause afib? I read online that there have been some people that have experienced afib with Zoloft. I can’t find if it goes away or requires coming off the drug. I know starting a new antidepressant can cause heart palpitations in some. I just wondered how I need to prepare myself when I see my doctor. I like to know the road I’m going down so I can have questions. I really don’t want to try a different drug. This will be my second just this month.

My partner has been taking Zoloft brand, only, he has been on them for 15 years now, they had to substitute for awhile several years ago when some components of the drug were unavailable, he relapsed badly, as soon as Zoloft was available again he came good. Must be soyin the recipe that suits him.

I have been taking Zoloft for several years now, and I have not had any side effects from it including afib or any other heart issues.
