Is it really anxiety?

After my sensation that the floor is sinking I started to experience fatigue a hard time breathing, my neck would hurt and my leg but mainly my left arm and it keeps hurting and so does my left leg sometimes my eye hurts too the lower right part of my abdomen hurts sometimes too and it’s driving insane cause at the beginning I had blood test but the aches just keep getting worse and I don’t know really know if it is just anxiety or I have a problem with my column. Can anyone relate? Is it really anxiety? Should I get concerned? Also I keep getting muscle spasms and muscle twitches so I really don’t know what’s wrong with me, someone please help me

The symptoms that you listed made me think of a magnesium deficiency. This article lists muscle twitching, fatigue, and mental illness as possible symptoms of magnesium deficiency healthline.com/nutrition/ma... magnesium deficiency can lead to serious health issues, diabetes or heart problems. Magnesium is also important for modulating calcium and potassium levels, and a deficiency in any of the three minerals can cause some of your symptoms.

The other day, I happened upon this article ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK5...

It connects magnesium deficiency with mental health problems, including anxiety. The article also says magnesium is a modulator for neurotransmitters glutemate and GABA. An excess of glutamate or a GABA deficiency can increase pain response, as well as a wide array of other physical symptoms (including anxiety, insomnia, increased incidence of headaches or even migraines, restless leg syndrome, and more).

And that sensation that the floor is sinking seems to be an anxiety symptom, according to this article I just found: anxietycentre.com/anxiety-d...

Hello again. I was reading this post and I read the first article about magnesium deficiency. Thank you for the information. I’m close to someone who has diabetes and my mom has problems with high blood pressure and we’re all struggling with depression and anxiety, so I might just run to the store and start taking a magnesium supplement now along with eating more almonds and leafy greens. Can’t hurt. Thank you.

The one cautionary note that I know about magnesium is with low blood pressure.

When my ex-wife was pregnant with each of our kids, she has gestational high blood pressure, and taking magnesium helped her to lower her blood pressure.
