I recently made a post explaining how I have missed a period, my last one being the 25/26th of November. I am 1000% not pregnant. My doctor sent me for bloods on Wednesday and on the Friday the came back normal. I was told the only thing was my hormones and I had to make a routine app with my Dr. Later that night I had tummy pain so phoned my out of hour doctor and she told me all my blood were normal??? So now I am confused and scared. Why have I missed my period 😭 is it my weight? Stress? I think I’m also experiencing IBS ( sorry if this is TMI )
I really can’t settle or relax it’s always at the back of my mind😭 with my crippling health anxiety I’m automatically assuming the worst, cancer, disease ect 😭
Sorry if this is to much information I’m just really worried x

Try to take comfort in the fact the doctors don't seem concerned.
You have also only missed one period. I have definitely missed the odd period in my time for no apparent reason - there probably was a reason but certainly nothing serious.
Its also worth noting that sometimes anxiety and stress can cause this.
Make your GP appointment but try not to let your imagination run away with you.
Hey; I understand that your health-related anxiety can be quite crippling. My advice is to stay in touch with your doctor(s) but also practice self-care. If you need to talk about anything, I am here to listen
Depending on your age it could be a number of things. If you’re not hurt in menopause, stress could be one reason. You mentioned pain. Ovarian cysts, totally normal, can cause a missed period. If you’re approaching menopause, your periods can go completely haywire during that time. I got on the pill in my 20’s for irregular periods. Fixed that problem.
Hi. I think you're caught in a vicious cycle and the anxiety is making the physical symptoms worse. Maybe try some positive self talk and keep reminding yourself that your bloods are normal. Trust me, the Drs would tell you if they weren't. So your missed period is probable due to stress, hormones acting up etc.,It is not unusual at all. Remember, your blood tests were fine so things will right themselves. Hormones are powerful things that can play up anytime and give women a lot of hassle. I'm sure you're fine, but you're getting very stressed about it all which won't be helping. You'll find a lot of women have experienced this, myself included, and it's not pregnancy or an illness, just your hormones playing up a bit that month.
