I feel i am having acid reflux it is troubling me a lot. After meal i feel more sick all the symptoms of mine ar matching exactly with acid reflux. I have been taking too much stress since 4 to 5 months.. i cried myself and i used to hide my emotions from everyone . I never shared anything to anyone. I think due to over stress I am having health issues now. Last month i had heart palpitations so i went to a g.p doctor near my home i had blood test and hormonal test and ecg done. And Alhamdulillah the report are good. And dctr didnt find anything. So he told me to consult with psychiatrist. But now a days i feel acid reflux more.. and when my acid reflux troubles me at the same time the anxiety hits me. Please tell me shall i consult gastrointestinal dctr or psychiatrist. Or else if i consult with gastrointestinal dctr than i can get anxiety or stress medicine from that? Or for anxiety and stress medicine will obviously need psychiatrist?
Plz those who have or who have hade anxiety or stress issues plz also tell for stress medicine i need to consult psychiatrist??

Yes yes. It is troubling me a lot. Everyday i feel something new and i get scared . I have acid refy and also anxiety.I dont exactly know whether acid reflux is causing anxiety or acid reflux is triggered by anxiety. Yesterday i felt menthol type sensation in my chest i got so scared. I checked google to see if this is anxiety. Yesterday itself i found it here that happens by anxiety also than i got little bit releif. And than today i had pvcs ( feel like double heart beat, sometimes missed heart beat). And many more
I have acid reflux which triggered my anxiety to the point I have severe health anxiety. Since there are so many scary and different body sensations you start to think if something is going to happen or if this is going to kill you. The anxiety then starts to play it’s part and makes it all worse
Dont see a shrink just yet. Have you tried baking soda? Dissolve some in water and drink when you have indigestion. You should start to burp shortly afterward. I just walk around until the burping stops. Next, you may be eating hard to digest food. Try oatmeal. If that works, try sweet potatoe (not yams) which is a complete food in terms of carbs, proteing, vitamins and minerals. Of course eliminate all fast foods and junk food.
